Chenkuan Li

Dr. Chenkuan Li received a PH.D. in Mathematics from the University of Regina in 1994 and worked at the University of Lethbridge, University of New Brunswick, Cape Breton University and University of Alberta (Augustana Campus) before moving to Brandon in 2002. He has been a full professor at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Brandon University, since 2006. His research activities are devoted to distribution theory, generalized integral transforms, fractional analysis, and nonlinear differential equations with fixed point theory. He has published over 100 papers, with many in high impact journals, as well as a book by Springer in 2024, and has been supported by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada for many years. In addition, He was awarded both the Brandon University Senate Award for Excellence in Research in 2015 and Teaching in 2016, becoming the third person to have both awards in the University’s history.
