Summer School in Perceiving, measuring and managing risk: illiquidity, long-term risk, natural resources

The purpose of the summer school is to introduce the full role of advanced risk management in our economy and society. Lectures focus on various aspects of risk management including the risk pooling in financial markets, the cost benefit analysis for the long term environmental decisions, the natural resources management. Building on this integrated approach, the conference will contribute to the current debate on the policy and institution changes that should be initiated to face global long-term risks.

Hennings Room 200, PIMS-UBC - All participants will receive a campus map with further instructions how to get to Hennings at the reception desk of your residence upon arrival.
**Note: Hennings is in Box C4, south of Irving Barber Learning Centre.

Financial Support
Applications are invited for young researchers and graduate students to attend the conference. A limited amount of financial support is available for travel and accomodation. Applications should be sent to one of the participating institutions by March 31.
