Nonconforming quadrilateral finite element methods for the Stokes equations

Details
In this talk a lowest-degree pair of nonconforming finite elements on quadrilaterals and hexahedrons will be introduced for the approximation of the Stokes equations. Also, an equal order pair of nonconforming finite element pair will be introduced. Discrete inf-sup conditions are shown which provide optimal orders of convergence. Numerical examples will be presented.
