In this talk I will present some results of recent and ongoing efforts employing Hermite-Birkhoff interpolation and radial basis functions for the representation of implicit curves and surfaces from scattered coherently-oriented, incoherently-oriented or fully-unoriented points for geometric modeling and reconstruction applications.
