Math Biology Seminar: Josh Scurll
Topic
Clustering in cell biology
Speakers
Details
Clustering is a useful data analysis technique in cell biology. For instance, it can be used to analyse the degree of clustering of receptors on a cell membrane, whereby we wish to cluster super-resolution microscopy localizations in physical spatial dimensions, or it can be used to identify populations of cells in high-throughput,high-dimensional single-cell data. Here, I will discuss how approaches from graph theory can be useful for such challenges.
