The 2019 Atlantic Causal Inference Conference (ACIC) will be held in Montreal, Canada from Wed May 22, 2019 to Fri May 24, 2019.ACIC is an interdisciplinary conference designed to bring together researchers, students, and practitioners of causal inference with emphasis on theory, methodology, and application. Montreal is pleased to present the first ACIC outside of the USA. Our organizing committee includes representatives from three Montreal Universities.

Pre- Conference Registration Fees: May 22
There are a number of workshops open to particpants. Please see the selections below, and note the talk options and time for the pre-conference talks.
Half day pre-conference registration: $50Cad.
Workshop 1: 9am-12am- Propensity Score Analysis in the Context of Complex Survey Data

Conference Regular Registration:(After March 15)
Student (Undergraduate, Graduate): $125
Non-Student(Postdoctorate, Faculty, Industry): $300

Registration process
Registration on this site is a 2-step process: Scroll to the bottom of this page and select the Login Button. You will be required to create a PIMS account and then return to the event page, select the Sign Up Button and continue on all the promts: First select your registration type and then selct the "optional additions":
- If you are attending the pre-conference only, select the drop down "May 22 Pre Conference Workshops only (select from the 5 options) $ 0.00 (CAD)" then choose your workshops from the "Optional Additions". If you signed up for the conference only and now want to add pre-conference sessions, you are still able to do this by signing -up again.
- If you are attending the pre-conference and conference, select from the drop down menu the Student or Non-Student value and then add you Pre-conference options.
Payment is made through the University of British Columbia and you will receive an automatic receipt via email.
Cancellation Policy
In order to cancel, you must notify Ian Shrier. Requests sent before midnight EST Apr 30, 2019 are eligible for a full refund. Requests between May 1 and midnight EST May 20 will be refunded at 50% of the value. Requests made after May 20 will not be eligible for reimbursement.
Online Security
PIMS will never contact you regarding travel reservations or accommodation payments. Please be vigilant should you receive any emails, calls or text messages claiming to assist you in making reservations for a PIMS sponsored event. Do not provide any personal information such as a social insurance number, credit card number, bank account number, or passport number as these requests are fraudulent in nature.
