The PIMS Postdoctoral Fellow Seminar: Sarah Dijols
Topic
How unique generic representations are, and all you need to know about them
Speakers
Details
The generic representations of p-adic groups are used in different contexts but still carry a touch of mystery. I will explain their use, and some central results about them. Further, I will give an account on a recent work with Cunningham, Fiori and Zhang on the enhanced genericity conjecture of Shahidi, which claims the existence of a generic representation in all the tempered local Arthur packets.
