SFU Single Slide Showcase

SFU’s Association for Women in Math (AWM) Student Chapter and the Department of Mathematics EDI Advisory Group are jointly organizing a celebration for International Women in Math Day on Friday, May 10th on Burnaby campus!

Come and listen to a series of short talks to showcase the research of women and non-binary individuals in mathematics. Talks will be given by faculty, post-docs and students of all levels. You can expect short research talks as well as historical biographies and even some personal stories.

Enjoy some coffee and cupcakes, listen to inspiring talks highlighting the research and achievements of a woman/non-binary mathematician, and meet others in the Math department! Everyone is welcome to attend.
