UBC DG MP PDE Seminar: Gang Zhou

I will report the progress we made on the ETH approach for quantum measurements. Here E stands for Events, T stands for Trees and H for histories. I will start with presenting some basics of quantum mechanics, for example, the probabilistic nature of quantum mechanics and the importance of detectors. Detailed mathematics will be presented for the two level set of fluorescence models. Joint works with Juerg Frohlich and Alessandro Pizzo.
