Mathematical Foundations of Quantum Advantage
Speakers
Details
This workshop is hosted by Simon Fraser University. It is supported by the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences and the NSERC-EU project FoQaCiA. The goal of this meeting is to connect mathematicians, physicists and computer scientists interested in common topics. We hope to share open questions with the potential for concrete interdisciplinary collaborations. It will centre around five major interconnected themes:
- The stabiliser formalism
- Contextuality and nonlocality
- Classical simulation of quantum computations
- Quantum error correction and fault tolerance, e.g. MSD
- Measurement-based quantum computation
