Summer School on Homotopy Colimits

Homotopy limits and colimits are a fundamental tool in homotopy theory, with applications to topology, geometry, and algebra. The event is aimed at graduate students, postdocs, and early-career researchers who want to learn more about this topic.

The program consists of five mini-courses:

1. Inna Zakharevich (Cornell University): Classical homotopy theory and model categories.
2. Chris Kapulkin (Western University): ∞-categories.
3. Anna Marie Bohmann (Vanderbilt University): Equivariant homotopy theory.
4. Brenda Johnson (Union College): Functor calculus.
5. Alejandro Adem (UBC Vancouver): Homotopy theory of classifying spaces.
