The first MMI in-person meeting will take place at UBC Vancouver, scheduled from September 26th to September 29th. The schedule is as follows:

Dinner will be provided on September 26th, Lunch will be provided on September 27th & 28th and coffee breaks will be arranged during the event.
Travel and Accommodation
MMI will cover local accommodation at UBC for up to 2 individuals per group (1 PI + 1 HQP or 2 HQPs) and their travel expenses up to the amounts listed below:

For the two MMI-supported individuals, local accommodations will be arranged by MMI. However, participants are responsible for booking their own travel. Travel expense reimbursement up to the listed amount will be processed by PIMS Central based on receipts.
Additional MMI HQPs (graduate students or postdocs) are welcome and encouraged to attend. Please note, however, that while coffee breaks and lunches will be provided, travel expenses and local accommodations will not be covered by MMI.
