Registration: There is no fee to register. To register please click "signup" (at the bottom of this page) to create and access your account.
Parking: For participants arriving by automobile parking vouchers will be available (no cost) that will be valid in campus Lot 21 for both May 2 and May 3. Simply park in Lot 21 and go in the main entrance of the Math Sci Bldg, on the right hand (West) side of the lot, obtain the voucher at the desk there marked ACMC + N-S. If you would like a voucher kindly send an email to Nancy Chibry (n.chibry@ucalgary.ca), just give your name, licence plate, and write "Voucher" (if using a rental car give the licence plate on arrival).
Accommodation: The most convenient is the Hotel Alma, right on the campus. There are also several nearby hotels in the Motel Village, including the Village Park Inn, Travel Lodge, Ramada Inn, and others.
Arrival: The lounge of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics (MS 461) will serve as a central meeting point throughout the meeting. Upon arrival you can head up to the lounge to register, obtain a programme, coffee/tea etc.
Talks: There will be two invited (one hour) lectures on May 2 and three on May 3. In addition, if you are interested in giving a talk at the ACMC on Thursday please send an email to Manny Estabrooks (Manny.Estabrooks@rdc.ab.ca) giving your name, affiliation and title of your talk. Similarly if you would like to give a talk at the N-S on Friday May 3, send an email to Peter Zvengrowski (zvengrow@ucalgary.ca) with the same information. Speakers can be students, educators, faculty, postdocs, etc. Traditionally, for the N-S, preference for giving talks has been given to new faculty members in Alberta and new postdoctoral fellows so they should have a chance to introduce their research interests to mathematicians throughout the province. But anyone with research interests is invited to speak.
