TRUe Games

Details
Workshops on Combinatorial Game Theory occur on almost an annual basis but have yet to be held on the west coast. The opportunity to hold such an event at TRU will promote existing and new collaboration between BC and researchers around the world. The informal nature of a workshop should allow ample opportunities for participation by both graduate and undergraduate students from this area and beyond. Many different projects (scoring games, placement games, misere games) will be discussed and a cross pollination of ideas will occur among researchers in game theory who might not otherwise find themselves at a common event. It is expected that many students will be in attendance who will greatly benefit from working closely with experts in the field.
