Conference on Modern Aspects of Complex Analysis and Its Applications
Speakers
Details
In recent years the field of complex analysis has evolved into various new areas, including random conformal maps, dynamical systems, geometric function theory broadly construed, and it has even seen applications to discrete networks. While all of these directions have their roots in complex analysis, the threads of current research in these separate areas have diverged substantially. Greater interaction between these various flavors of “complex analysis” will enhance the development of the entire field. This conference intends to foster the interaction between experts and early-career mathematicians in this field.
Topics that will be covered include:
1. Classical complex analysis, geometric function theory, and potential theory;
2. Harmonic analysis and geometric measure theory;
3. Quasiconformal maps and analysis on metric spaces and
4. Complex analysis and probability
