Mathematics - Number Ninjas

Calling all aspiring mathematicians! This math enrichment program invites campers to challenge and develop their thinking and creativity skills. The goal of this program is to convey the importance of mathematics in the real world and showcase how much fun it can be! This program will get campers excited about mathematics by incorporating puzzles, math games, and fascinating problems in a group setting.

In the mornings, campers will focus on 3 main themes: Geometry, Numeracy, and Patterns. In the afternoons, campers will take a break from the classroom and spend time outside and around campus. They will get a taste for team building games, scavenger hunts around campus, and even visit the Beatty Biodiversity Museum and the Museum of the Earth!

Prerequisites: Students must confidently know how to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Required Equipment: Grid Spiral Notebook (1cm square ruling), pencils, pencil sharpener, erasers, and colored pencils.
