The Department of Statistics at the University of British Columbia (UBC) is thrilled to announce our upcoming Girls in Data Science Camp this summer. This is an excellent opportunity for students to explore the world of data science and statistics, and apply their knowledge on real data sets with the support of experienced mentors in the field.
The camp will be held July 8-10 on UBC’s Vancouver campus from 10am-3pm. Participants should be in grades 8-12 and identify as a girl or other gender minority.
You can register using this google form. Registration is free and participants will be provided with lunch each day. Please note that limited spots are available.
