2024 PIMS Postdoctoral Summit

The 1^st PIMS Postdoctoral Summit is proposed to take place at the University of Calgary during June 25 - 26, 2024. The goal of this meeting is to help the PIMS Post-doctoral 2023 Cohort to form a network, to share research expertise, and to access career mentorship.

Summit Activities

A scientific session called “Dream Big Research Pitch presentations” will be hosted. 

To support networking and facilitate potential collaboration amongst PIMS postdocs, each fellow will be asked to prepare a short 25 minute introductory talk on their research program or a problem you would like to propose for potential collaboration.  You may talk about whatever you want during your talk (open problems you’d like to tackle, a result you are proud of or excited about, work by others that you admire).  There will be time for discussion/questions about the talks.
