PIMS Invites Proposals for Innovation Activities

PIMS invites proposals that meet the goals of the newly funded Institutes' Innovation Platform, to increase the use of mathematics and statistics in industrial research and development in Canada. This includes proposals for joint academic/industrial conferences and workshops, industrial short courses, job fairs and networking events, relevant development and training of highly qualified personnel, and other strategic academic-industry collaborations in the mathematical sciences. PIMS welcomes proposals from its individual sites to host the next PIMS Industrial Problem Solving Workshop, the next Graduate Mathematical Modeling in Industry workshop, or possibly a joint project that merges these two activities.

Please contact the PIMS Innovation Coordinator, Michael Lamoureux, at 604-822-0406 or Innovation@pims.math.ca for more information.
