News

 

Gregory Miermont received an EMS Prize "for his outstanding work on scaling limits of random structures such as trees and random planar maps, and his highly innovative insight in the treatment of random metrics" Miermont has been visiting PIMS and the UBC Mathematics Department during the 2011-12 academic year as a researcher at the CNRS Unité Mixte Internationale, which was established at PIMS in 2007.

 

PIMS-UBC will be moving to its new location in the Earth Sciences Building on August 28! Stay tuned for more details and photos from our new site.
