News

Marcelo Laca has been appointed as the new PIMS site director at the University of Victoria, beginning on July 1, 2012. We are grateful to Ian Putnam for his excellent service to our community.

 

Charles Doran has been re-appointed for a second three-year term as PIMS site director at the University of Alberta, also beginning on July 1, 2012.

 

PIMS-UBC will be moving to its new location in the Earth Sciences Building in August, details will be forthcoming.

 

The PIMS Education Prize will be awarded to Mark MacLean (UBC) at the Changing the Culture Conference at SFU-Harbour Centre on Friday, May 18 at noon. Thanks to CGG Veritas/Hampson-Russell for sponsoring this award.
