The Department of Mathematics at Simon Fraser University is pleased to present The 2016 SFU Symposium on Mathematics and Computation, which will be held on Monday, August 15 at the IRMACS Centre, SFU Burnaby Campus. This annual event showcases the computational expertise of our department and of our invited speakers.

Application for poster competition deadline: August 11, 2016.
The SFU Mathematics Department invites undergraduate and graduate research students to participate in the 2016 SFU Symposium on Mathematics and Computation Poster Competition. Posters will be judged in two categories - graduate and undergraduate - and there will be prizes for the winner and best runner up. Judging will be based on both content and presentation. Poster titles must be submitted via the online registration form by August 11 at 12pm. Presenters are responsible for printing their own poster.
