Workshop on Numerical Methods for PDEs on Surfaces
Speakers
Details
This workshop focuses on numerical analysis, scientific computing and applied mathematics topics broadly related to solving partial differential equations on curved surfaces.
The workshop will bring together a total of 20 research faculty and graduate students. It will be run in a retreat format, with participants presenting talks for part of each day and plenty of time for informal collaboration, brainstorming, software demos and development, and other relevant activities. The goals are to share ideas, form new collaborative projects, and broaden existing research projects.
